Grilled Garlic Butter Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your preferred cut)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (or thyme), chopped
- Optional: lemon juice for a fresh touch
Instructions:
- Prepare the Steaks:
Take the steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels. - Season:
Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil. Season generously with salt and black pepper. - Preheat the Pan or Grill:
Heat a heavy skillet (cast iron preferred) or grill over high heat until very hot. - Cook the Steaks:
Place the steaks on the hot surface. Sear for 3–5 minutes per side depending on the thickness and desired doneness. Flip only once. - Add Flavor:
In the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steaks repeatedly. - Rest the Steaks:
Remove steaks from the pan and let them rest on a plate covered loosely with foil for 5–10 minutes before serving. - Serve:
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
